Powerexpert, inc. was founded in 2016. Jonathan Kunkle was asked by his former employer to continue working for them as a part time contractor. Other clients and project work was taken on and the company grew. Powerexpert now offers services ranging from short phone consultations to complete turn-key systems. Powerexpert partners with other design and manufacturing firms to provide complex solutions when the task requires it.

We are committed to keeping clients up with the latest advances in the field by leveraging over 20 years of power electronics design and development experience.

Today, Powerexpert specializes in providing part-time and remote power electronics and printed circuit board design services, on-demand and as-needed. This enables customers to get the expertise they need without having to hire a full time engineer.

Powerexpert is flexible with work assignments and arrangements. For projects requiring the exchange of proprietary information, a two-way Nondisclosure Agreement is made between parties. A consulting agreement is also signed by both parties. Work is performed at Powerexpert’s office, typically after normal business hours and on weekends. Phone calls and e-mails are exchanged as required throughout the project. Customers are typically billed by the hour via monthly invoices at an agreed to rate. Powerexpert operates as a corp-to-corp (C2C) contractor.  There are multiple payment options, including PayPal, Purchase Order, wire transfer, and live checks.
