Provided quotation support for a custom IGBT-based power supply RFQ for a client. Work included customer specification review, topology inception, component sizing, simulation, magnetics sizing and selection (input 12 pulse transformer, output chokes), auxiliary control power, control and sensing solutions, power semiconductor selection, preliminary cooling design, and system level schematic diagram. Also generated a costed bill of material and a work breakdown structure with estimated hours for each contributing discipline.
