Powerexpert took basic requirements from the customer and created a detailed product specification and a final design of a printed circuit board.

The board converted an 11-15VDC input to a selectable and regulated output voltage.

Work included circuit inception, design, simulation, schematic capture, parts modeling, PCB layout and gerber file generation, component sourcing, costed bill of material, assembly and schematic drawings, test specification, test fixture design, and final turn-key costs with lead time.

Two versions of the design were provided- a through hole simple design and a surface mount design with enhanced features.
